This part of the tour will conclude with a walk along the Via Sacra before arriving at the Capitoline Hill and the "Vittoriano", one of the most impressive monuments in modern Italy.

Once you have met your guide, your tour will get underway with a reserved ticket for the Colosseum. You will proceed to its interior in order to explore the biggest amphitheatre ever built.

The next stage of the tour will take you to the Trevi Fountain, an important feature in many films, but perhaps most famously in Fellini’s “La Dolce Vita”. Legend has it that if you throw a coin into the fountain and make a wish, you will one day return to the city. You will then have a little time to relax and have lunch (not included in the price). There is a wide range of restaurants catering for all tastes, whether you feel like something quick such as a pizza or a sandwich, or taking your time over a three-course meal.

After lunch, your next stop will be the Government District, home to the Parliament Building, the Palace of the Council of Ministers and the Column of Marcus Aurelius.

Walk along a narrow street and you will come face to face with the Pantheon, where Raphael, the famous Renaissance artist and architect, is buried.
