Machu Picchu 1-Day By Panoramic Vistadome Train

Visiting Machu Picchu by Vistadome train is the best option to enjoy the landscape and the view along the way to Machu Picchu.

The panoramic windows located on the walls and roofs of the wagons make a unique experience in connection with the environment outside.

The return trip by Vistadome train has a fashion show on board that shows an exclusive collection of baby alpaca and a live show, with typical dances of our Andean culture.

In the morning at 6:30 AM we will pick up you from the hotel to take you by private transport to the Poroy train station (30 minute car trip) or Ollantaytambo station (2 hours by car)

You will be transferred to either Poroy (30 minutes from Cusco) or Ollantaytambo (2 hours from Cusco) train stations to board the Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes. Train Departure Time: Around 7:00 AM

Arrive in Aguas Calientes where you can take a break, explore the town, and enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants (lunch not included).

Once at the entrance of Machu Picchu, present your tickets and identification before embarking on a guided tour through the main venues of the ancient city. You will visit the Main Square, Circular Tower, Sacred Solar Clock, Royal Rooms, and more, while your guide shares fascinating history and information about this incredible site. Guided Tour Duration: 2-3 hours

After your tour of Machu Picchu, take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes town.

In the late afternoon (around 5:00 PM), board the return train to either Ollantaytambo or Poroy. Enjoy traditional dances, snacks, and drinks during the scenic train journey.

Once you arrive at your destination station (Ollantaytambo or Poroy), our staff will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco. Arrival time in Cusco: Around 9:20 PM
