In this place you will find four pools that vary in temperature from 99° Fahrenheit to 105° (37° to 41° C). These warm waters have an invigorating and calming effect. One of the pools has an artificial waterfall. All pools are surrounded by the bright colors and vegetation of the Arenal rainforest. Eco Termales is a family owned and operated natural hot spring. They allow a limited number of guests each day so visitors can get the most out of their visit to the springs. It's easy to spend the day here: Eco Termales offers poolside snacks and delicious meals. Eco Termales prepares fresh and tasty Creole cuisine for its guests. Meals here are served buffet style. You can choose between two hot entrees and then help yourself to ingredients for salads, fruit, the soup of the day and a selection of Costa Rican desserts. Notes: Day pass began at 10am finishing at 4pm. Night pass began at 5pm ending at 10pm. In both options you will need to schedule the time. Transport is not incluided.

Discover Costa Rica´s largest network of naturally flowing thermal mineral springs in Arenal’s largest and most beautiful private, rainforest reserve. Tabacon is flanked by the beautiful Arenal Volcano at one end and the Arenal Volcano National Park on the other. The road here literally takes you to the heard of the jungle, so expect the sounds and sights of the native flora and fauna to flood your senses. This is where the thermal experience begins. There are five main springs source highly mineralized water that is heated underground by the Arenal Volcano’s magma. Thousands of gallons of this perfect water naturally emanate every minute. The thermal water flows throughout the resort, forming the Tabacon River. We are a boutique tour company that is locally owned and operated. We pride ourselves on keeping our groups small to medium in size so that we can make our tours more personal and unique.Once you are picked up at your hotel or vacation rental, you will be driven through palm plantations and a jungle back country before arriving at the thermal springs. It is a informative 45 minute ride where a bilingual guide will explain the history of the local area while looking for wildlife along the way. Once you arrive, there are bathrooms where one can change. There is a 5 minute walk to get o the thermal pools and the river. There are 5 pristine thermal pools where one can relax while experiencing a natural clay mask. One can also swim in the crystal clear waters of the river where the pools are 2 ft to 6 ft deep. There are three naturally carved out rock slides where everyone in the family can have a blast going down them. A typical Costa Rican lunch is served at the end of the tour.

Destination: San Pedro de Atacama.
On the transfer, you can enjoy a restorative bath at the Puritama Hot Springs, located 30 km from San Pedro de Atacama. Its waters originate in the Andes Mountains and reach high temperatures due to the proximity to volcanic materials. Then, they flow to the surface in the Puritama River, creating eight natural pools, surrounded by hills and native vegetation. The enclosure is equipped with dressing rooms, bathrooms and terraces in each of the pools, and the average temperature of the hot springs is 33 °C. Of the approximately 4 and a half hours that the complete activity lasts, a maximum of 2 hours is allocated for bathing in the thermal pools.

Enjoy a day of relaxation and adventure. Explore amazing landscapes, then, continue with relaxing ain the pools of the Puritama River, which waters are born in the mountain range and have high temperature because of the proximity with volcanic materials. The place has facilities such as walkways, bathrooms, changing rooms and cafeteria, to be able to enjoy it to the fullest, and at the same time, they are assembled in such a way that they do not affect the natural environment. Availability is maximum 15 people per pool, so don't take too long to book.

The boat departs daily from the old port of Fira at 11.00 or 14.00 in the morning/noon. After a 10-minute short trip, the boat arrives at the port of Erinia which is the name of the small bay of the active volcano. The ship will remain there for 1 hour and 15 minutes and if you want, you can follow the small path to reach the top where the active craters are located. There you can take pictures, see the rocks still smoking and where it strongly smells brimstone. After your return to the ship, we depart for Palaia Kameni where the hot springs are, the famous natural mud baths, which have been created after the volcanic eruptions. In the small bay of St.Nicolas, the water temperature varies from 30 to 35 degrees Celsius, as it constantly mixes with the normal seawater. The ship stays here about 30 min and you can swim. It's quite a time since there is no beach but you should climb down the stairs of the boat. After the swimming at the thermal waters, the boat returns back to the port.
